The family-owned company Prousek exclusive lighting is a leader in the traditional production of crystal lighting fixtures, combining a deep passion for craftsmanship with respect for historical heritage, now in its third generation. The company focuses on precision custom manufacturing, from small residential chandeliers to monumental lighting installations for hotels and sacred buildings, with each piece being the result of individual dialogue with the customer.
The company's history began in 1989 with the combination of Václav Prousek's experience and his son Petr's enthusiasm, creating a business firmly rooted in the traditions of North Bohemian glassmaking. All production takes place in Nový Oldřichov, where experts spend weeks and months hand-cutting lead crystal, polishing brass components, and applying special varnishes that are resistant to any climate. The Prousk family's philosophy combines the honest handiwork of past centuries with 21st-century technologies, enabling the creation of not only classic cast and enamel chandeliers, but also progressive works of art.
The heart of the company's presentation is the Prousek Gallery on Prácheň in Kamenický Šenov, a sensitively renovated historic building associated with the famous Palme family. Visitors can admire the brilliance of several-meter-high crystal installations in the representative lounge, which is wheelchair accessible, and view a wide range of lighting fixtures and accessories such as vases and carafes. The refined atmosphere is complemented by the opportunity to view works by local artists and the personal approach of the staff, who are happy to introduce guests to the fascinating world of glass and metals over a cup of coffee.
