Crystal Valley Week is almost here!

On Tuesday, August 26, Liberec will light up with the fourth annual festival of glass, jewelry, and costume jewelry. The main program will offer a sparkling mosaic of experiences in many locations. But glass lovers can already see exhibitions and installations.

Liebieg would probably be surprised

The festival invites visitors to the Johann Gallery in the Liebieg Palace for the exhibition Olives in Glass, dedicated to three generations of the Oliv family of glassmakers from Železný Brod, as well as to the work of foreign guests. This year's glass show features a large group of artists from Poland, whose diverse work, united by a love of the material, i.e. glass, can be admired by visitors in the Heinrich Salon, also in the Liebieg Palace. The exhibition is aptly named Glass and Love.

Crystal Valley Week 2025 brings glass back to the castle

Not far from the Liebieg Palace, Liberec Castle invites visitors to see the Black Box exhibition by Crystalex from Nový Bor and an exhibition of works by students from art schools and colleges in the Crystal Valley. Both exhibitions are currently only available during paid tours of the castle, but we will make them available free of charge during the main festival week.
