Melting glass in molds is a glassmaking technique documented as far back as around 400 BC. It was "rediscovered" for the world by two remarkable people from northern Bohemia, Libenský and Brychtová. The studio they founded lives on in the works of artists from Železný Brod. But beautiful figurines, sculptures, and glass installations to embellish interiors, gardens, and public spaces are also being created in other places in the Crystal Valley.
