Trishards
Vilém, Petra, and Olča. As luck would have it, as it often does in life, they met and decided that since glass had been tempting and attracting them for a long time, they would give it a try. They would build a glass workshop and show tourists the little they knew. And then it happened. The astronomical clock will be moved to Žibřidice and housed in the historic fire station. The ground floor has a space suitable for a workshop, so that's where they'll set it up. Visitors who come to see the clock will also be able to visit the glass workshop, enriching their experience. They liked this idea, and so did the municipal council. Today, they have confirmation that it was the right decision, and tourists really like this combination of the astronomical clock and the old glassmaking craft.
You can see demonstrations of several glassmaking techniques, and you can even try some of them yourself. By arrangement, they also offer courses in wound beads and Tiffany stained glass.
