In his studio in Nový Bor, Jan Falta mainly focuses on his own work as a glass artist, designer, and glass cutter. He uses various techniques and technologies in his work, which he tries to combine in an unconventional and creative way to give his pieces an original and unmistakable signature. He finds inspiration primarily in nature, which offers a whole range of shapes and patterns, but also in various styles such as art deco, impressionism, cubism, pop art, and action art, which intersect throughout his work. He places particular emphasis on originality and high-quality handcrafted glass. He creates artistic objects and hand-blown and cut utility glass decorated with diamond saw cuts.
