In my small studio in Rudník, surrounded by the beauty of the Krkonoše Mountains, I create glass paintings, panels and small decorations using the fusing method - fused glass. I like to use the technique of frit painting or powder painting. It is a little-known glass art technique in which the artist uses powdered glass (frits) of many colours to create paintings, which are then fired in a kiln. These paintings can be as rich in color and texture as traditional painting techniques. They can also take advantage of all the unique properties of glass, such as light transmission and reflection, which other paintings cannot. I am a student of the world-renowned glass artist Miriam di Fiore from Italy, who teaches me how to understand and communicate with glass, because glass also has its own language and its own soul...
