Halama Glass
The family-owned company, founded in 1932, revived the production of relief art glass after more than four decades of forced hiatus. Since 1994, the company has again produced hand-blown vases, bowls, liqueur and perfume sets, statuettes and other objects in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco style. By adhering to traditional production techniques, hand-cutting and polishing, it creates, of the highest quality, the lasting value of glass beauty. Limited edition bottles and flasks are paired with fine perfumes and spirits, while unique pieces, made to order, appear in the interiors of royal palaces and residences. Others have been prized for decades among collectors around the world and are represented in the collections of major museums. Crystal trophies and awards for major international sporting competitions are also regular realisations. Selected products from the original and modern collections are regularly used by the highest constitutional officials of the Czech Republic as protocol gifts and by diplomats on permanent missions abroad. The production is represented only through authorised dealers in many world markets, with exports accounting for 90% of turnover.
