Karel Sobotka trained under the guidance of experienced experts and has been doing this work for more than 40 years. Today, he is one of the last people still working in this field. The experience and skills he has acquired are reflected in his work. Each figurine has its own personal charm, reflecting the relationship and artistry of its creator. It is purely handmade work without the use of molds – everything is blown from Czech-made glass tubes using an old gasoline burner. He received the 2013 CZECH ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR award for his work and is the holder of the protected trademarks Czech Product and Regional Product of the Bohemian Paradise.
