Hotel Ještěd
Ještěd is a distinctive conical hill (1,012 meters above sea level) towering above Liberec and one of the most famous symbols of northern Bohemia. At its summit stands an iconic hyperboloid-shaped mountain hotel and television transmitter, designed by architect Karel Hubáček and completed in 1973. Thanks to its futuristic "UFO" appearance and clever combination of a hotel and transmitter, it is one of the highlights of Czech post-war architecture and a national cultural monument, as well as being on the preliminary UNESCO list. Ještěd offers distant views of the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany, and the area is popular for hiking and skiing.
Accommodation at Ještěd is a great experience. Every room offers a view that you won't find anywhere else.
The restaurant at Ještěd opens every day at 11 a.m. During the day, you can order tasty dishes with shorter preparation times from the daily menu. In the evening, when the hustle and bustle of the day subsides and the atmosphere changes, the evening menu is served, offering something for lovers of specialties. There are also other options for refreshments at Ještěd.
