Easter in the Crystal Valley 2024
Kick off the Easter holidays on the weekend of March 23-24, 2024 in Crystal Valley. Two open days at glassworks, studios and museums. Not only beautiful Easter decorations, but also the production of jewellery, costume jewellery and glass products will be experienced in the Easter atmosphere directly at the places of origin. Some museums have also prepared an Easter programme. Visit our glassmakers, jewellers, museums and creative workshops.
During the Easter event you can compete for a giant Easter egg. This year, the intricately cut glass object will even shine, Leoš Smejkal from the Kamenický Šenov Studio Bystro Design used uranium glass for its production.

- Fourteen stops in the form of glass sculptures designed and created by glassmaker Josef Novotný from the Spider Glass glassworks in Heřmanice near Frýdlant.
- The glass sculptures are placed on the original sandstone pedestals where the Stations of the Cross were painted in the last century.
- The glass paintings were created in the Spider Glass glassworks using the so-called fusing method, i.e. glass blowing.
