Come and kick off Jablonec's anniversary year!

We invite you to the festive Ball of the City of Jablonec nad Nisou, which will take place after a several-year hiatus on Saturday, January 17, 2026, starting at 8 p.m. at the Eurocentrum.

The evening, subtitled "Sparkling 160," will symbolically kick off the celebrations of 160 years since Jablonec was elevated to city status and other important anniversaries that await us in 2026.

You can look forward to a music and dance program full of elegance and energy. The evening will be hosted by Šárka Hesová, with music for dancing and listening provided by the Ladislav Bareš Orchestra. Ondřej Ruml will be the guest of the evening, and Oskar Hes and his partner Kateřina Bartuněk Hrstková will provide the dance show.

As usual, the proceeds from the ball will go to charity. The specific recipient will be decided by the city council in December based on expert recommendations. The ball is organized by the statutory city of Jablonec nad Nisou in cooperation with Kulturou Jablonec, p. o.
