Lustrfest in Kamenický Šenov this year will be a celebration of glassmaking roots, famous families and legendary personalities of the industry
 

Kamenický Šenov will once again light up the fifth year of the unique open air glass and lighting festival LUSTRFEST. This year's celebrations from 13 to 15 June will mainly commemorate important anniversaries of famous glass companies and will also pay tribute to outstanding personalities of this industry. Among them, Jan Dvořáček, an academic painter and the first director of the local glass school, whose birth will be 200 years ago this year, will take pride of place. Dvořáček managed to harmoniously combine the world of painting and glass art and his legacy continues to inspire generations of glassmakers and artists today.
