FAST & FURIOUS Exhibition | Filip and Lukáš Houdkovi – design, glass, sports
The exhibition FAST & FURIOUS | Filip and Lukáš Houdkovi – design, glass, sport will be open to visitors from January 29, 2026, to May 24, 2026, at MUZA | North Bohemian Museum in Liberec.
You are cordially invited to the opening, which will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 28!
Designers and brothers Filip and Lukáš Houdkovi are constantly on the move. At work, in their creative endeavors, and in their personal lives. The aesthetics of speed, construction, and dynamics are not just a formal concept for them; they are rooted in their life experiences.
The exhibition will present the work of two prominent figures in contemporary Czech glass design. Their joint work straddles the boundaries between design, fine art, and technical experimentation. It combines glass, metal, and the world of motorsports and cycling, which is close to both artists' hearts.
The exhibition features unique objects influenced by automotive design (e.g., Porsche) and cycling, which have never been exhibited before. You will also gain insight into the personal stories of the two authors, brothers, colleagues, athletes, and partners who share a studio but develop different artistic approaches.
