We cordially invite you to the opening of a long-term exhibition entitled V4+1 at the Horácká Gallery in Nové Město na Moravě.
Four letters, four names, four paths in glass.
Valner, Vágner, Vízner, and Verner – four voices that meet in transparency, in the silence of a material that remembers both fire and breath. The accompanying voice of singer-songwriter Jana Vébrová will fill the space as delicately as light is born from glass in a furnace.
We invite you to a meeting where transparency turns into a story and silence into a song.
The V4+1 exhibition, inspired by the 90th anniversary of the birth of František Vízner, is both a tribute and a conversation. Between generations, between families, between glass that is never completely solid – always waiting for something to break or sparkle within it.
The V4+1 exhibition presents a meeting of four personalities of Czech glass art—the Valners, the Vágners, Vízner, and Verner—whose work is connected not only by the first letter of their names, but above all by their shared relationship to material, light, and landscape.
The letter V here stands not only for their names, but also for Vysočina (Highlands), vision, layering, and seeing.
